In this post you can read an excerpt from the text I ‘ve written about Emilio Fornieles, featured artist of Virtual Gallery and I would like to invite you all to stroll through his amazing gallery B-sides.
When I became acquainted with Emilio Fornieles and his work in the last edition of the Berliner Liste art fair, without a doubt what most caught my attention was the passion in the execution of his works and the touch of aggressiveness, as well as his command of black and white, which makes it possible to create landscapes and portraits that are charged with great force and dramatic quality and that we can now enjoy in the artist’s gallery on Virtual Gallery.
A self-taught artist, he has been learning how to capture the reality he perceives. He began to paint when he was very young, although it was not until 2006 that he decided to fully dedicate himself to it, due to an exhibition in which “he opened himself to the public”.

In this post you can read an excerpt from the text I ‘ve written about Sadie Weis, featured artist of the week of Virtual Gallery and I would like to invite you all to stroll through her amazing gallery, that summarizing her production very well and allows us to explore her universe.
Sadie Weis is a multimedia artist working in the disciplines of Installation, Sculpture, Painting, Printmaking, and Video with influences of the spiritual, the occult, magic, and science fiction.
Her philosophy, and the inspiration for her artistic output, centers on a combination of these elements, which she uses to create alternative environments and sensations to transport the viewer to other worlds. These elements combine with the re-appropriation of relics and memories, placed in the context of organic processes such as the growth of crystals and natural decay.

As many of you know , I work as Chief Curator in Germany for Virtual Gallery, a social network and online platform to exhibit, buy and sell art .
There is a space that I specially like in the platform and this is the “Featured Artists” section, those are artists who have been selected by an international network of curators what we are currently building and it shows the idea of how selling art online is evolving towards the creation of networks.
Besides all the outreach and communication we do with those artists, we as curators, also write an article going deeper into the artist and into different aspects of his work. We publish it in several languages, creating an interesting catalog of artists.
I have just finished Irene Cruz, now featured artist at Virtual Gallery. I invite you all to stroll through the three impressive rooms we have opened in the gallery with the series Urlaub, Mär and Heimat.
